bro i remember watching poe RITUAL league trailer, i was playing with someone and the trailer got us so hyped, MAVEN all the cool stuff ritual, there is so much stuff in the game. iin d3 season is like here is your banner your pennant, which is the same fucking shit like all seasons before. and looks even the same way, they do no effort. xD its actually sad

there is truth in it, it takes more as to create those levels which most of them are CANAL levels here and there a little wider, to place some mobs, and come up with a key to create a portal, aka rifts or grifts which iis basicly the same thing, u have a boss in the end. only thing is one is time based. I enjoyed D3 in the beginning way way more as later on, the downfal lcame after they removed the AH, and every season is the same fucking shit.. you get a banner a pennant, idk some bullshit. it even ooks the same for every season. i did like tha game, but they just had no ideas no creativity, then they bring ancient items, then primal ancient which is all the same shit, just to make ppl farm . then they bring ancient ancient, like... u see they have no ideas. and i understand the point that fans actually get nothing. there is nothing new. and actually diablo 3 was dead then already. we just didnt knew it back then but it was predictablle. and man if they fuck up d4 the same way... u wanna wait 20 years for d5 with 50 or 60 we play d5. the game looks ok, d4 i mean, its darker, but they kinda copy the POE skill system and just made it way way more simple. and i didnt saw anything new, or innovation. you can like poe or not, mostly its hard for "normal" rpg poeple. i understand . but its a game u learn and you can have long time alot fun. and they always bring new stuff. as a diablo 2 fan, i liked d3 but it wasnt what it could have been, even in d2 they had way more ideas, but i know it made a different team. like poe 2 is also coming,and diablo 4 will have a tufff time. sure they sell many d4. they make money. but in the end. they rly have to deliever now. they rly have to.

The D2 itemization was dropped, along with everything else, is because the team that made D2 had nothing to do with D3. Totally different team. Some of Blizzard North went off and made Torchlight.

I definitely hear what you’re saying about itemisation and having players make permanent decisions that make or break their character but regardless of what they do in the end superior builds will rise to the surface and ppl will just copy them and then everyone plays the same build. I personally think the game just needs rare powerful items and it should take a significant amount of time to even equip most slots with legendary items. They could learn a lot from the current looter shooters like destiny. They just need to make endgame content difficult but interesting and make that content drop the powerful loot.
